Hello everybody, I decided to write this article in order to show you which smartphones are really worth their prices and also why. I am going to mention 5 smartphones that have higher value than price, according to my personal experience and view. Now I am going to disappoint all Apple fans here – an iPhone is never worth it’s price (except if money is nothing for you). I am going to mention models like Huawei and Nokia, some brands that may surprise you, but trust me, there is a reason for that.
Super Battery – Huawei Ascend G700
I have been using this phone for a while, just some weeks, but I haven’t seen such battery on any of my previous phones. This smartphone has quad-core cpu with 1.2ghz frequency, is not slow at all for a smartphone in its class, though the camera is a real disaster. The battery life I had when I used the phone was from a day to even 3 full working days, with a single normal use. This is something I miss in most new smartphones – a really good battery. All phones with big screens don’t have such battery life, I personally don’t know what is the secret behind this Huawei – is it the low frequency, bad camera, optimized OS, I don’t know, but I was really happy with this phone.
Ultra Camera – Nokia Lumia 1020
As already mentioned in some of my previous article, I am an ex-owner of the Lumia 1020 and I will always remember this device. Why? Because it had literally the best smartphone camera. I’ve been comparing my Lumia with phones like Galaxy K Zoom, the camera of smartphones like Galaxy S5, Note 3, iPhone, but none of them could give me the quality I got from the Lumia 1020.
One big advantage of this Nokia phone was that the pictures came in RAW quality – just perfect for Adobe Photoshop, which made my pictures even better. I also have a stock photo uploaded in iStockPhoto from my Lumia and it was accepted, this should show you that the image quality from this phone is really good and for now there is no smartphone camera like this one.
Worth more than it costs – Moto G
In the Android world, I think that everybody has heard that the Moto G is one of the best budget smartphones. The answer is short – the phone has some generations and also has a big brother – the Moto X, which are main reasons for it now to be one of the cheapest and maybe most worth it Android phones. When the Moto G was released, it had the latest version of Android, which made it easier for a lot of people to buy it (a simple trick from Google).
But why exactly is the Moto G so popular? The 1st generation has a really good battery life, similar to the one of the Huawei Ascend G700, here the manufacturer is Motorola though. Also with a poor camera and not that good technical specifications, Moto G was a choice of many, mainly because of it’s low price, good battery and awesome OS.
Better Performance – OnePlus One
This smartphone has won the design award of 2015, but the thing that makes it outstanding is the performance. The OnePlus One has broken many benchmark records and has made it to the top place, in the same time having a really low price – lower than 300 eur in Europe. This is really incredible, because this smartphone is a game changer, showing that cheap devices can be faster than some other more expensive devices. This phone is obviously worth it more than its price, mainly because it was really long time on the 1st place in mobile benchmarks, which is usually a reason manufacturers like Samsung to increase or even double the price.
Google Nexus 4 – Worth it
The advantages of this device are two, but important – low price, latest updates. For the time when the phone was released, the price was not high at all and as all Nexus devices, it had all latest updates from Google, which made it also a top choice for lots of people to buy it. Other small advantage is the easy rooting. For this smartphone there was so much custom ROMs that made it more beautiful and much much faster.
