The Apple Watch is finally here! Today I will take a quick close look to the new Apple device.
Design
The size of the watch can be 38 mm or 42 mm. The sapphire is the material that Apple chose to made the front Retina display. Apple has made over a thousand of variations in 3 editions. You can choose your watch between size, material, body color and band color. The 3 editions are Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition.
Apple Watch Sport – available in 10 models, made by aluminum and comes in 2 colors – Silver and Space Gray. The Silver comes with white, blue, green and pink band. The Space Gray comes with the black band.

Apple Watch – available in 20 models, made by stainless steel case. Here you get a variation of bands – Sport Band, Classic Buckle, Milanese Loop, Leather Loop, Modern Buckle and Link Bracelet.
Apple Watch Edition – available in 8 models and here we have 18-karat rose and gold case which are really valuable. Here you get the Sport Band, Classic and Modern Buckle.
There are rumors that apple will allow third party band replacement.
Control
The new Apple Watch is controlled by the digital crown. You can navigate through apps, zoom in and out in photos, scroll through list and all that you can do by just rotate the digital crown. If you press the digital crown you will return to the home screen. The display uses the new Force Touch technology. Pressing firmly on the screen gives you additional controls.
Usage
With the new Apple Watch you can reply to messages, answer phone calls without having to look for your phone with the integrated mic and speaker on the Apple Watch, look through your e-mail, see your day calendar, track your activity and workout, get directions and use the Apple Maps app, check-in on the airport with Passbook and choose which credit or debit card to use for Apple pay, wake up Siri on Apple Watch by just saying “Hey, Siri !”, control your music app, use it as a remote for your camera on the iPhone or for the Apple TV and iTunes, check the weather, keep up with stocks, go through your photos, set an alarm, really good stopwatch application and timer, world clock, and many more.
Conclusion
The Apple Watch is a great device. Everything is perfect, no doubts ! But the price is a bit .. meh. So you say if it’s worth it, that’s all from me !
