Pebble created that unique watch as one that will last for a while and give off the best possible display that anyone could ask for. It is easy to use and enjoy for many controls. It can especially do quite a bit of things as it is connected onto a Wi-Fi link.

A Special E-Paper Display

The E-Paper display feature is a key part of what makes this watch a special option. This display setup uses a flat surface that reflects light in the same way that paper does. This works alongside an LED backlight setup to improve upon the watch’s battery life. The LED light will not generate a great deal of heat either, thus keeping the user comfortable without risking too much pressure on the watch or the user.

The E-Paper display creates and always-on color screen display and a very thin body that is only about 9.5 mm thick. The glass lens is also h2 enough to keep it from being scratched. This in turn makes the watch easy to read without worrying about wearing out or otherwise becoming unsightly.

It Works For a While

The rechargeable battery on the Pebble Time Smartwatch is especially impressive. It can work for up to seven days at a time. A cable that works on a USB port can be used to recharge the watch as necessary.

How the Timeline Works

Pebble Time Smartwatch BlackThe Timeline interface on this watch is an impressive feature to check out. It notifies the user about calls, calender events, weather reports and alerts from your watch’s apps. The user can schedule events on the watch and review events that took place or whatever one has missed in real time.

Take Advantage Of Loads Of Apps

One of the best parts of the Pebble Time Smartwatch is that it can work with thousands of apps. There are more than eight thousand apps that can be used on this smartwatch. These include apps from big names like Uber, ESPN and much more.

You Can Customize It

The physical design of the Pebble Time watch is already appealing but users can also adjust it in many ways. It can work with one of many additional bands or covers. The user can choose different bands and other features to add onto the watch to make it more appealing and unique for one’s own desires.

Supports Both Options

The Pebble Time watch is amazingly compatible. It can link up to Android and iPhone smartphones alike. A Pebble Time app can be loaded onto either smartphone option to sync up to the watch. This is a very popular feature of the Pebble Time watch in that it ensures that more connections can be made to larger devices. An Android or iOS user is no longer tethered to using only a watch that can actually link up to their original operating systems. The Pebble Time can work on all of these systems as desired.

A Fun Fitness Tracker

Pebble Time Smartwatch RedThe Pebble Time watch can also link up with many activity tracking devices or applications. It can wirelessly link up to Fitocracy, Jawbone, Misfit and RunKeeper devices.

In fact, this watch can work in most places where people are trying to exercise in. It is water-resistant and will not wear out due to excess moisture. It is even water resistant at up to 30 meters, thus creating the best possible workout routine that anyone could ever enjoy getting into for one’s health and interest.

Play Back Music

The Pebble Time can connect to many music-playing programs. It can work with Pandora online radio to play back a variety of tunes. It can also connect to the iHeartRadio app, thus giving the user access to hundreds of different radio stations from around the country. This can work well thanks to the h2 Wi-Fi connections that the watch can link up to.

Conclusion

People who are looking for a fine smartwatch option to take advantage of can try the Pebble Time Smartwatch for their needs. This attractive smartwatch is flexible and uses many controls and apps. It all comes with one of the easiest control screens that anyone can use when finding ways to make their smartphones work out right.

The market is currently filled with lots of devise which are aimed at helping you get so much from your workout sessions. In the event that you are the kind of person who spends lots of time running or cycling, or even swimming, you may have noticed over the past few months a surge in devices that are geared towards helping you achieve utmost efficiency when you are working out.

With the incredible variety that has filled up the market, in most cases the choice of the watch to use will be a personal decision, which perhaps you will make with an emphasis on your budget and maybe your personal fitness needs and goals.

One thing that pretty much cuts across most of the devices that you will get in the market is that they all attempt to help you get as much as you can from your runs. They all try in one way or the other to monitor the performance of your key organs and in the process relay some information in terms of your pace, your heartbeat and so forth.

These are vital information that can help you not only determine what exercise routines to slow down on or which ones to increase, but they can also help you stay in healthy shape as you keep working out. Many are those who have actually come to learn from these devices, about challenges in their body system that perhaps they never had imagined before.

Garmin Forerunner 620 Review

Garmin Forerunner 620
Of all the GPS watches available in the market at the moment, the Garmin Forerunner 620 is considerably one of the most advanced. There are a lot of intuitive features that are built into the design, including Wi-Fi connectivity, ANT+ and Bluetooth connection. This is however not all; there are lots of functions that have also been designed into the watch.
Garmin Forerunner 620 GPS
There have been questions raised in the market with regard to some of the features that have been done away with from the FR220 model in place of the new 620, and the subsequent price increase. Take note that the Garmin Forerunner 620 costs almost half more than the FR220. To make matters worse, users now have to get the HRM Run strap in order to effectively use all the features that are bundled into the watch.
Garmin Forerunner 620 Watch
Upon unboxing, you should get the power cable, the HRM Run pod and a heart rate strap which is connected together with the HRM transmitter pod in order to use the heart rate monitor function. We must mention that in the market at the moment the heart rate monitor is more of a benchmark, so in the future this will be a must have for all the devices.

The Garmin Forerunner 620 is considerably lighter than the Garmin Forerunner 610, and slimmer. The charger though is not compatible with a host of other devices as was the case with Garmin Forerunner 610. The accelerometer function measures your movement, which is then relayed to the Running Dynamics metrics. You still benefit from some of the other traditional analytical units that came bundled with the earlier models, including the ability to measure your heart beats for every minute.

In comparison with most of the other devices that are within the same price range and offer similar functionality, Garmin Forerunner 620 is pretty much within a standard size range when compared with the likes of Suunto Ambit 2S and Adidas Smart Run GPS.

From an ergonomic point of view, Garmin Forerunner 620 weighs only 44 grams, as compared to the predecessor which was listed at 75 grams. With upgrades to the system, it is now easier and faster for you to get GPS signals once you are ready to start running. It caches the locations from the previous places where you have been sighted, and synchronizes through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Smart.

Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch review

Fitbit Surge Fitnessn SuperwatchFitbit Surge Fitnessn Superwatch SideWhenever a fitness monitor is released the first thing that people worry about besides the criticism and reviews is whether or not it will be able to live up to the hype, and deliver some quality utility to the user, with respect to the prices. In this line of products, the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch is a first for the developers, a true tracking wearable device for those who are actively involved in working out. Of special emphasis, this device will be a must have in the event that you cycle or do a lot of running.

There is a GPS tracker built into the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch, and coupled with the heart rate sensor, this is more than just an average sports watch. Critics consider this to be a sure winner against the likes of Garmin and Polar devices.

If you are used to the conventional tracking band form factor, you will be in for a rude shock. With the new design on Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch, the band form factor has been done away with in favor of an appearance that makes this more of a smart watch than an activity tracker.

In terms of the aesthetics however, do not expect the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch to look anything like the LG G or the Asus ZenWatch. It is built with an emphasis on functionality, not aesthetics.

The rubber strap is available in three colors, tangerine, blue or black and apart from being secure when in use, is actually more comfortable than before. The display however needs some work because it surely looks rather out of place, if not just odd. The 1.25 inch monochrome touchscreen uses different color variants to illuminate the menu and home screen.

To navigate and see your stats accumulated during the day from the live view, there is a button to the left of the watch. This will also allow you access to the function screens, improve visibility of the screen based on the lighting for the environment you are in.

It is commendable the ease with which you can find your way around the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch features and options without necessarily feeling lost. The touchscreen is responsive, which is a plus, especially when you are using it in the rain.

In the event that you are trying to use the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch in a situation where there is really poor lighting, the LCD screen will come in handy. It has an in-build backlight that can be set on or off depending on your preferences. Remember however that constantly using the backlight will further drain your batteries.

Suunto Ambit 2 S Graphite HR Watch Review

Suunto Ambit 2 S Graphite HR WatchThis is the perfect watch for all sports personnel. In a market that is currently dominated by some of the finest innovations in as far as smart watches are concerned, Suunto Ambit 2 S serves as a good alternative for those who want performance but are not willing to pay off the roof for high end products.

In size it is really light, weighing only 72 grams. It is designed with peculiar modes that can help you when you are running, swimming and when you are cycling. For those who are into triathlons, there is a special mode just for that.

In as much as it is considerably lighter than most, the size makes it a bit bulkier as compared to some of the varieties that are in the market. It measures 15.5mm. This should not deter you from using it however, because once you have it strapped on, it stays put, comfortable and does not irritate the skin. When you are running it feels so comfortable on the skin too.

While it might cost you around $400, you must realize that there is nothing so fancy about the quartz screen, as compared to most of the other devices. It is specially built for functionality, meaning that you can easily view it head-on.

There is a unique light designed into the screen to help you get a clear view even when you are running in the evening and during winter. This will also be useful when the weather turns dark. One thing that is really commendable about this watch is the battery life, which lasts a whopping 15 days. Recharging it is also simple through USB. Other than that, you might however have to hold your horses before you start using it because it will take almost 10 minutes to sync all your information.

We must give it to the designers of this watch, the ease of use is commendable. The start menu has a host of functions which are incredible, such as a log book, your navigation compass, and timers. You can even set training modes for indoors activities and swimming, or a brisk walk in the park. Weightlifters can use the category for “other sports”

For the swimmers, you will only need to indicate the size of the swimming pool and the watch will accurately estimate your swimming strokes.

TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch review

TomTom Runner CardioThe TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch boasts a number of unique features for a fitness tracker. One of the most common reasons why a number of people prefer this tracking device is because of the fact that it has a tracker specifically targeted to measure your heart rate. For those who are just foraying into the fitness tracker market, the TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch comes hot on the heels of the successful predecessor, TomTom Runner.

While the predecessor was a success, there were a number of issues that had to be addressed to make it more functional, such as the battery life. The TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch therefore was introduced as a fix and an upgrade. In as far as the features are concerned, it rivals the likes of Adidas MiCoach Smart Run and Samsung Gear 2. This is solely as a result of the heart rate monitor that indicates to an acceptable level of accuracy how hard/fast you are working out.

In as much as the heart rate monitor is an incredible inclusion in the device, it is also worth mentioning that it is also a reason for the more than $100 spike in the price of TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch. The 8 hour battery life also does not do it much justice, considering that there are already devices in the market that promise more than 15 hours of juice.

In terms of the ergonomics, the plastic strap that was once available in TomTom Runner was replaced with a flexible rubber strap, which does not only keep the watch display and the GPS tracker in place, but also keeps the device comfortable when in use. However, it is also worth noting that wearing this device all day is more cumbersome and uncomfortable than the predecessor, so it leaves the user in a catch-22 situation.

Swimmers however have something to smile about, for you can go under water with the TomTom Runner Cardio GPS Watch, perhaps only up to 165 feet. However, while you are under water it is impossible to keep track of progress as you would perhaps enjoy with the TomTom Multi-Sport watch.

While it is an acceptable advancement to the predecessor, most of the features still remain the same. This includes the GPS sensor, positioned underneath the display. It has been improved to detect motion faster, particularly when you are using the device in an area that has lots of buildings.

Conclusion

These watches are not just about keeping you on track by giving you detailed information with regard to your style of running. More and more of them are increasingly being released into the industry, with a penchant to monitor the performance of the most important organ in your body, your heart.

You will also realize that with each advancement in the model of the device that you are using, they get smarter, and more concise. Things like GPS tracking have become more enhanced to deliver more results for you. With these alternatives at your behest, you surely have your health in good hands.

Jawbone UP2Jawbone UP2 combines two things that make the perfect recipe for a winner in the current gadget market; an incredible software build and an amazing price. Everyone is keen on getting some of the best products in the market, albeit by paying significantly less for them. The UP2 brand is actually a replacement of the UP24 brand of activity trackers.

It is important not to confuse UP2, UP24 and UP3. UP3 is the more advanced of the three, including functions such as a heart rate monitor. However, UP2 improves on UP24, with more or less the same features, a few tweaks to make it more functional, and a reduced price. You can get it for around $100 or less, depending on the prevailing market rate and forces.

Jawbone UP2 Activity
See it at Amazon

This device monitors the steps that you make every other day, the distance that you cover and calories that you burn. Apart from that, you also get a sleep tracker bundled in the device. When you double tap on the top side of the band, an activity light shows you the mode the tracker is currently tracking. To save on energy, you can make a long press on the band while the activity light is still on to enable sleep mode. Sadly a number of people have complained in the past that this function is not responsive all the time, so we might look forward to more developments in the future to sort this out.

Jawbone UP2 Night ActivityOne thing that we can appreciate however is that with time, you can actually set the device to recover any data that was not tracked when you were sleeping. All you have to do is to add a range of hours within which you were asleep. That being said however, the market and the clientele still demand a device that is able to automatically track sleep as is the case with most of the competition.

Interestingly enough, Jawbone UP2 does not come with a display, but there is an alarm that silently vibrates. This is really innovative, having something that vibrates gently on your wrist to wake you up. If you happen to fall into some light sleep perhaps when you are a bit exhausted, the smart alarm will also wake you up. It is actually peaceful and rather sensible as compared to the blaring sounds of anormalsmartphone alarm.

One of the most commendable things about this particular fitness tracker is the fact that even though you can use it without a display, it is still one of the most functional trackers you will come to get your hands on.

Now only is it affordable, but it is easy to use, will help you keep tabs on your lifestyle and in the long run you will be able to live a healthier lifestyle than you have been doing for a while. There is a big difference between action cameras and the average cameras that you get in the stores these days. Action cameras are basically designed to provide more functionality, higher resolution and the finest quality in situations that other cameras would definitely struggle to impress.

From the moment you decide to get an action camera, you need to rest assured that everything else about your experience will be about finesse. These cameras deliver quality resolution like no regular camera can. At the moment there are so many such cameras in the market that even deliver 4K resolution.

When summer comes by, there are lots of activities that entice a lot of people. School is over and there is a lot of fun going around. With this in mind, it would be a good idea if you had one of the best cameras with which to capture some of these moments. For the ultimate fun lover, the action cameras are a welcome addition to your arsenal when you are planning some fun activities for the summer.

Thinking of activities that involve surfing, speed cars, helmets, jumping off tall buildings, bungee jumping, that rollercoaster ride? Well, leave not your action camera behind while you are packing. The following are some select few that are popular in the market so far.

GoPro Hero4 Black Review

GoPro Hero4 BlackGoPro Hero4 Black has always been considered the best ever action camera in the market. Backed by lots of innovation and intuitive ideas, there are very few cameras that can compare against the GoPro Hero4 Black. From as early as 2004 GoPro has been delivering some of the finest action cameras especially for those who are cut out for high adrenaline activities. It does not come as a surprise that they were awarded the Best Technology and Engineering in 2013 at the Emmy Awards.

With GoPro Hero4 Black, you are able to get 4k footage (full frame), and all this at an incredible 30 frames per second – take note that this is something giants like Nikon are yet to achieve, even with Nikon 1J5 which is a mirrorless camera.

One of the main reasons why the GoPro Hero4 Black and all the other cameras in the GoPro line of 4K cameras are a heartthrob to many is because they are specifically built to be inconspicuous, almost invisible. While they have managed to achieve this, it is incredible how they still manage to maintain the desirable ergonomic dimensions for the users. As a matter of fact, GoPro Hero4 Black in comparison with the predecessor Hero 3+ still share similar sizes, at 41x59x30 millimeters.

For all the performance that is built into it, the GoPro Hero4 Black comes in at 88 grams, but with the waterproof case this shoots up to slightly over 150 grams. In the event that you are going to use the camera in different locations, it is important for you to carry this housing.

There are two LED indicators that are built next to the LCD screen, to indicate the status of wireless connectivity and the other acts as a battery indicator and an indicator for the status of the camera. The shutter button is built just atop the camera and a settings button to the left side of the camera. This is a slight difference from what was available on Hero 3+, but the concept is to make access and use of the program more convenient.

The camera is designed with a 12 megapixel 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor. You also have an ultrawide angle lens with an F2.8 aperture. GoPro Hero4 Black can record footage to 3840 x 2160, and record 1080 pixel videos at 120 frames per second.

HTC RE 16.0MP Waterproof Digital Camera

Labelled the camera that looks like a periscope, HTC really outdid themselves with the HTC RE 16.0 MP waterHTC RE 16.0MP Waterproof Digital Cameraproof digital camera. With the incredible features that are built into it, the camera surprisingly retails at less than $200. Of course you cannot expect it to be a beast like GoPro, but rest assured that you will be surprised at how much you can do with it. It is one of an increasing number of cameras that come with Wi-Fi enabled, but there is a twist to this – you do not necessarily need to have a phone to use this function.

With stiff competition all over the place, there are a lot of models that are currently just copying one another and adding a few features to their latest releases. However HTC RE is a different story altogether. It really works well, not like you would expect of an average camera though. It feels as though it is a perfect combination between an awesome smartphone and a functional camera.

Interestingly enough this camera does not need/have a power button. Well, that’s something new, huh? In short you no longer need to wait some time for the shutter to open up or wake up for you to take a shot. How many incredible moments of magic have passed you by in this way? Well, with HTC RE all you have to do is to shoot, and keep shooting. As long as it is in your hands, it is ready to go. Apart from that, when you are using the HTC RE, you will be able to shoot without using any viewfinder. In terms of control you can get some power to the camera through your iOS or Android device. This feature allows you to hold your phone and take shots without necessarily struggling to fumble with your hands to get the best frame for the shots.

The lens of the HTC RE is built slightly wider than you might think it is when you see it at first sight. As a result, it will take you some time to adapt to the 146 degree shooting angle – even some of the best photographers in the world have admitted to struggling with this. However once you get used to it, there is so much fun that you can have with this camera.

Since there is no viewfinder on the HTC RE, you will get awesome shots if the scene you are shooting is closer to you. However, in the event that you are taking shots from so far, you must be prepared for some sort of distortion.

Panasonic HX-A500E

Panasonic HX-A500EBefore we venture into anything else about this camera, we have to mention the fact that this is actually the first ever 4K action camera designed by Panasonic. Of course it wasn’t the first ever in the world, but a first and surely an incredible entry into the market for Panasonic. While we are at it, the first ever 4K action camera was GoPro’s HERO3 Black Edition.

The Panasonic HX-A500E is specially designed, making it a class above all the other action cameras. It is practically divided into two sections. One section has a fixed lens, mono microphone assembly and the other has a recording system. The recording system on this camera has a 1.5 inch LCD screen, complete with control buttons. There is a navigation joystick to make the work of the user a lot easier.

Based on the IPX8 standards, the Panasonic HX-A500E is waterproof, but only up to 3 meters. On the other hand it is also resistant to dust under IP5X. So far there has not been any specifications labeled on this camera with respect to impact resistance, so when you are using it, you need to be really careful. However, we must not forget to mention that the camcorder is well-built, complete with a plastic cover to protect the LCD screen from damage.

The Panasonic HX-A500E camera is also designed with a special power-saving feature which forces the screen into automatic shutdown when it has not been in use for a while. When you are using this camera, you can record up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. This is possible at 25 frames/second. This means that you are actually recording at 4X the normal resolution when you are using full HD. While others would refer to this as 4K, it is technically Ultra HD, especially since this amounts to 4096 x 2160 pixels against an aspect ratio of 19:10.

Sadly, with the quality you are milking out of this camera, it operates at 72 MB/second. This basically means that with a 32 GB SD card, you might only be able to fit perhaps an hour or less of a film.

You are however free to choose to record at different resolutions, from Full HD, 720p or whichever other resolution you fancy. Ideally you have in your possession a camera that you can use to record some action for all situations, even capturing stills to a resolution of 5376 x 3024, which might perhaps require some interpolation.

Garmin VIRB Elite

Garmin VIRB EliteThe Garmin VIRB Elite is one of the best action cameras in the market this year, especially with the ANT + sensor and remote connectivity. Apart from that, the designers have also placed an emphasis on connectivity, with Wi-Fi connectivity built into the model. While we can admit to the fact that you will get really good image quality, recording Full HD images up to a speed of 21 Mb/sec perhaps is something worth looking at. The recording on this camera is stored by default in MP4. The screen is a 1.2 inch CMOS offering 16M pixels.

The wireless connectivity is a very good feature, and it gets better due to the fact that you can use your smartphone as a remote controller. This actually works for Android and iOS devices. However, in the event that you are looking for a camera that allows internet streaming live, the Garmin VIRB Elite is not the one for you. If lack of live internet streaming irks you from owning this camera, wait till you learn that you cannot zoom on it either – what kind of a camera does not offer zoom functions?

The target market for the Garmin VIRB Elite according to their marketing and advertising personnel is to aim for those individuals who might already own any of the outdoor activity products that are designed by Garmin. The design of Garmin VIRB Elite is rugged, at least that conforms to most of the other models that are available in the market at the moment. Besides that, it is also waterproof up to IPX7.

For the action enthusiasts, there are mounts that are available on the camera, which can be so helpful when you need to attach the camera on to equipment such as a helmet.

We must also notice the fact that they have done something that is not so common in the market so far, providing a Chroma display of 1.4 inches. This is a feature that is only available with the likes of GoPro HERO3 and JVC ADIXXION GC-XA2. In as much as the screen is an incredible concept, as a buyer you have to understand the fact that this will certainly come at the expense of the battery life. In an attempt to solve this however, Garmin managed to build a screen that is not backlit. Therefore the screen uses up less power than a normal LCD screen.

Conclusion

Of these cameras, different users have different preferences. It is close to impossible to make an ultimate choice for an individual, considering that the choice of which camera to purchase will depend on lots of things such as your budget or your preferred brand of choice.

At the same time, we must also mention that this is not an exhaustive list, with lots of other brands available in the market from which you can make your pick. Either way, what we know for sure is that when you are getting ready for your summer holiday you will not want to leave your action camera behind. With all the fun that you will have when you take time off with your friends and family members, be sure to tag along your favorite action camera to capture every single magical moment.

Fitness and smart watches are the in thing at the moment. Such is the hype that if you have a high end phone, it is almost synonymous to your being. In fact some of these devices come bundled with smart watches when you purchase them. Garmin Vivosmart is one such device, though experts contend that it is neither a fitness tracker nor a smart watch, but a nifty combination of either. Why is this so?

Well, the device, going for around $170, is able to perform all the tasks and functions that you would hope to find in a fitness tracker, while at the same time it also has some features that you would find in a smart watch. This means that while you are able to monitor your steps and the calories that you have burned, you are also able to see your email, check Facebook and Twitter through the OLED screen. What’s more, you can also see your notifications and receive incoming calls. The challenge for such devices therefore is whether or not it can multitask efficiently.

Something interesting about the Garmin Vivosmart is the fact that as you use it from day to day, it adjusts itself to your level of recent activity. In fact, they have designed in it a “move bar” which monitors your level of movement through the day and advises you on when you need to get flexible, move around.

In as far as motivation is concerned however, the Garmin Vivosmart fitness app that is designed to operate in the device hasn’t got much to offer. Apart from that, the device also has a penchant for scratching rather easily. Those who have used it over time have also complained that if you have it on for a longer time period, it becomes rather uncomfortable. One of the other concerns that has been raised in the past is the fact that the Garmin Vivosmart is not really compatible with most of the smartphones out there. Perhaps this is something that can be fixed when rolling out updates and upgrades in the future.

In as much as we will commend Garmin for being one of the pioneers in combining a smart watch and a fitness tracker, from an ergonomic point of view there is still so much to be done. The notifications might make it look and feel like a smart watch, but this does still not justify the incredulous price it fetches in the market.

In the development stages a lot of people widely expected that Garmin Vivosmart would go into the market with a view to tackling the Apple Watch. However, instead of playing this card they chose to focus more on presenting an efficient fitness tool that has seen a lot of enthusiasts have nothing but praise for the Garmin Vivosmart. What they have done is prove that there is so much more to this market other than competition. They have also taken a really strong stand for the use of tech in improving fitness.

Hot on the heels of the successful Olympus TG-3 from last year, Olympus has once again rolled out another incredible camera, Olympus TG-4, waterproof, with a 3 inch LCD screen. It is a rugged camera though they have not done so much in as far as the style of the exterior is concerned, or the control scheme. Those who are looking for changes of a significant magnitude will need to look elsewhere, for most of the improvements on the Olympus TG-3 that brought about Olympus TG-4 have taken place under the hood.

We see the introduction of more modes for scenery captures, GPS tracking has been upgraded and is now faster than before. Just in case you are looking for a camera that will guarantee you high quality images, you are making the right choice. RAW capture will certainly turn a few heads, even though others have done it before. We can perhaps appreciate the fact that you can actually shoot RAW files across all the major shooting modes. However, the aperture priority and program exposure will bring more value to the scenery that you are shooting. Scene modes have been updated and the filter effects are incredible.

Olympus Live Composite mode has been included in the design of Olympus TG-4, as was the case with the earlier model E-M10. With this feature, you are able to get awesome shots at night, capture some incredible landscape shots, take impeccable shots of the city at any given time of the day or night, irrespective of the prevailing weather conditions. To add on to that all these shots are taken in real time. This means that you no longer need to worry about processing your photos later on, or taking more time later on to build lots of presentable images.

Camera Olympus TG-4 16 MP TopThe AF target selection is a feature that has been long overdue, and coming from Olympus, this is an incredible trendsetter. We can expect lots of developers to tow this line in the future, even on smartphones. With this feature you are able to make use of directional control buttons that go either way to shift the focus point wherever you want. As a result, you can now choose and frame your shots the way want.

We cannot round off this review without mentioning the waterproof capacity of the Olympus TG-4. With a maximum depth of 50 feet underneath the seas, you can make good use of the underwater HDR mode and deliver some pristine shots.

Olympus TG-4 16 MP BackFor someone who is looking for one of the best cameras in the market so far, there is quite the variety from which you can make your selection. However, the Olympus TG-4, waterproof, with a 3 inch LCD screen is sure to be one of the best cameras that you can get your hands on so far. If you really fancy ultra HD 4K and some of the best resolution for action shots, this is definitely what you need to get your hands on.

Sony Xperia Z4 release date, specs and price http://reviewtech.info/sony-xperia-z4-release-date-specs-and-price/ http://reviewtech.info/sony-xperia-z4-release-date-specs-and-price/#respond Wed, 24 Jun 2015 22:00:03 +0000 http://reviewtech.info/?p=1846 Sony Xperia Z4 is a continuation of a series of smartphones. Sony Xperia Z4 is a continuation of a series of smartphones. The manufacturer has equipped the device with a housing with a metal frame with a thickness of only 6.9 mm (this is 0,4 mm less than the previous model) and the whole weighs 144 grams (8 grams less than the last year’s flagship). The housing meets the standards of IPX5 course / 8 and IP6X, which means that it is dust-proof and waterproof.

The heart of the smartphone is not surprisingly the 64-bit, 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 81. Which has four Cortex-A53 cores and quadcore Cortex-A57. The SoC is supported by 3 GB of RAM and the data will be able to store on 32GB eMMC, which if necessary can be expanded via microSD card with a capacity up to 128 GB. Sony Xperia Z4 still remains at full HD. The image will be displayed on the 5.2-inch display TRILUMINOS with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This certainly enjoys a lot people because – as far as we know – increasing the solutions usually translates into a negative impact on battery life. So we guess that Sony deliberately remained at full HD.
Xperia Z4 features a front webcam of 5.1 megapixels Exmor R for video calls and a camera 20.7 megapixels Exmor RS at the rear. The rear camera can record video in 4k resolution (2160p). But it lacks of support for OIS (optical image stabilization). There is only a digital stabilization. Though Sony boats that the new camera allows you to take pictures even in difficult lighting conditions, such as at night.

Technical specification of the new flagship of Sony complements the Wi-Fi 802.11 n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB with MHL connector, the battery capacity of 2930 mAh, improved LTE modem. The model is on the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to be on sale in Japan this summer, but the price of the smartphone has not yet been disclosed. The Xperia Z3 launched at $630 and it is expected the Z4 to launch at around the same price. The device will be available in four different colors: black, white, sea green and copper. On sale ther will be also a set of dedicated accessories, such as a case with a window and a stand on a desk.

The new flagship Sony does not make any special impression. Oh, another smartphone, which is a continuation of the line. Is the Japanese in general decide to introduce it on other markets. We guess that, yes, but availability and so may be limited. Among the supported languages on the system is also Polish, and this allows us to suggest that the Xperia time Z4 will also be available on the Vistula.

Xperia Z4 confirms that Sony does not specifically have an idea for a smartphone. This year Samsung has completely different approached to the issue of new smartphones and Galaxy S6 is a completely different smartphone than S5. In the case of Xperia we got stronger components and basically: that’s all.

Sony is not really doing well recently on the smartphone market. Sales of Xperia are below expectations. Last year the company sold around 38 million smartphones. For comparison: Samsung – 300 million, and LG over 60 million. Sony needs a new flagship, but the one of the real event. If you believe the rumors, then this has to be the Xperia smartphone Z5, which supposedly we will be able to see before the end of this year.

The Xperia Z4 will be launching in Japan this summer, while international availability of the model is set for June 2015.
