The Best Budget Smartphones For 2015

Android is known for its big variety of smartphones and different devices. Choosing one of them is often a hard decision, which should be made carefully, especially on a limited budget. In this article I am going to review shortly the best budget android smartphones available this year. Bear in mind that this is 100% my personal opinion.

The Budget Microsoft Lumia 535

Let’s start with a really cheap Lumia phone from Microsoft – the Microsoft Lumia 535. You can read more about this phone in my review about this budget phone. The phone came with a really low price in Europe, having really good technical specifications like quad-core cpu and 5mpx front camera. Also the phone design is not that bad at all, but the only disadvantage people may find here is the OS – Windows Phone. The phone is getting the Windows 10 update, which should be motivating to buy it.

Moto G from Google

Moto G was created from Motorola as a budget phone and had really good success. The 1st and 2nd generation of this phone are really good and worth their prices. The 1st generation is 4.5” with 720p display, also with 1.2Ghz quad-core cpu and 1GB ram. The 2nd generation is 5”, same cpu and RAM. Both models are also known for their good battery and how long the device lasts. The price is similar to the Lumia 535’s one, so if you want something from the same price range but with Android, this is the phone you should take a look at.

Huawei Ascend G700

Even though quite old, this phone with quad-core cpu can be found for a price less than 100 eur in Europe. Though the camera is not from the best one, this phone is usually coming with the dual-sim functionality, which makes it perfect for people looking for a fast and cheap android phone with dual-sim. The phone has 5” big 720p display and 2GB of RAM, technical specifications which are usual for the mid and high class of smartphones.

Sony Xperia M2

Sony has released the Xperia M2 in February, 2014 and can be now found for price around 150 euros. The phone has 5” display with 540×960 resolution, worse display quality than the Huawei Ascend. The RAM of the phone is only 1gb, but the camera is quite good (Sony is popular for its phones with good cameras). If you are Sony fan, this is the budget decision for you.

Huawei Ascend P7

This is my favourite one for the low price range – the Huawei Ascend P7. Huawei is getting better and popular in the budget phone market. The Huawei Ascend P7 comes with Full HD 5” display, 2GB of RAM and 1.8Ghz quad-core CPU. Its main camera is 13 megapixels, but the phone has no 4g unfortunately. For a price around 150-160 euros, in my opinion this would be the best choice.
