Founded in 1989, Asus is also a Taiwanese brand. They’re the 4th largest vendor, specializing in notebooks and ultraportables.
Lenovo hails from Beijing, China. Founded in ‘84, they are the number one personal computer vendor in the world with 19.8% of the market share. Number two, three, and five are HP, Dell, and Apple respectively.
All three of these companies have some excellent models on the market. That’s not to say that every laptop they make is a 5-star masterpiece, but all three of them are well regarded. Value wise, it’s not the greatest bargain on the market regarding specs, but it is still a very good option for mid-range Ultrabooks.

If any product ever was, this is a Windows laptop equivalent of a MacBook Air.

It features design from both manufacturers and presents a relatively original hybrid product due to its mix of features from each company. As a result, the keyboard set up is somewhat unconventional and can be hard to get used to. The LaVie Z 360 can be used as a tablet as well as a laptop and is quite thin and easily portable.
